The State of Michigan awarded a $500,000 capital grant to the Macomb Foster Closet creating the first community center for foster, adoptive, and kinship families in the state!

Curtis Sod donated and installed this amazing new sod in front of the new building. This was previously all dirt from a former planting bed. The new grass makes the building more attractive and inviting and provides a dignified environment for kids to visit and receive services.

Pahoa Express donated all logistics and moved us into the new building. Four packed semi-trailers and four 23-foot truckloads later, all of our equipment, shelves, and inventory are ready to go when the renovations are complete.
